Software
We are primarily a Microsoft-focused team - and proud of it. Shown to the right are main products we employ to design and build your websites.
Hardware
Our development hardware is:
- Hugh - a custom-built Intel Quad-Core Q9550 with 4GB RAM and a 22" flat screen display
- Karen - a new Core-2 Duo Laptop - great for working onsite with clients
kazarooony webdesign is proud to be a WebPro member of the Microsoft WebsiteSpark program.

Tools of the Trade
Microsoft Expression & Visual Studio
Our core design and development software is Microsoft Expression Web 3. It is a huge product - and it's fair to say we are only scratching the surface of its capabilities - let alone it's companion Expression Design. The bottom line is - we just love this software. It is a very productive way of building great looking and standards-compliant websites.
Streamline.net
Streamline is our chosen web hosting provider. Our bulk 10 site hosting deal provides you with outstanding value. We have been using them for over a year and continue to be impressed with their technical performance and customer support.
Adobe Photoshop Elements
Whilst we do not use Adobe's web design tool, we are a fan of their photo-editing software. Our version - Elements 2 - may now be some years behind their latest product but it more than does the job for us allowing us great flexibility and control in editing all sorts of images for web display.
MS-Office Live - Small Business
Living 50 miles apart as we do it is essential that we have something better than e-mail and telephone to help us work collaboratively. So, one again, thanks go to Microsoft for Office Live for Small Business - a fantastic (and for now free!) collaboration tool that makes our joint working and control of software and documents so much simpler. In the future, we hope to be able to offer this to our clients as a way of delivering us new website content - rather than e-mail attachments.
Content Seed
This is an exciting new product we have just started working with. It is a 'content editing' tool that allows us to set up areas on web pages that you - the user - can edit yourself. This has huge potential for those sites with dynamic content or just for making small changes - such as a telephone number change - without needing us to do this. We launched our first Content Seed-enabled site early in 2010.
Other software we use as required includes:
- Magix Audio Cleaning Lab (for audio editing)
- Pinnacle Studio 12 (for video editing)
- and, of course, Microsoft Office 2007 for all our document production
