Sometimes we really wish we'd kept a journal of all the things that have happened to us over ths six months since we started this venture.

No matter - we've finally got around to setting up our own blog.  Here we'll share the challenges, frustrations and successes of woking together.

We'll tell you about the things that have gone well and those that have been less memorable!  Point you at websites that have impressed us - and those that have annoyed us.

20/07/10 A busy weekend

Kaz and I have just spent a busy and very productive weekend together.  We have just about completed work on our latest site www.cpgengineering.co.uk which we expect to launch in the next week or so.  This was a relatively straightforward project complicated only by the large number of engineering images we had to scale and fit into a new-style (for us) photo gallery.  We also completed the basic design for our next exciting project.  This is still under wraps until we complete a little more work on look and feel and get some content done - we'll tell you more in the coming few weeks.

We also got some fairly boring - but necessary - business-side work done - sorting out our acounts and standard business documents: wish I could say it was all finished but there is still some more to do!

For now - we're both back at work doing our 'real' jobs and are back to late evening Skype conversations and e-mails.

16/08/10 (Another) busy weekend

It was my turn to visit Kaz in Gainsborough yesterday.  This was fortunate because this was the weekend that - after some weeks of delay - we launched www.cpgengineering.co.uk.  We learned quite a few things about transferring domains from one hosting partner to another - not least the need to be patient!  The world-wide web can take some time to catch up getting it's directions sorted and it did take around 30 hours for everything to shake out.  Fortunately the site is now live (it's 07:30 on Monday morning) and that's one more we can claim and register under our Microsoft Websitespark agreement.

The main purpose of getting together yesterday was to discuss our next project - a hosted directory for the village of Turunç in Turkey where Glenda and I have our holiday apartment.  Kaz and I did a ton of work and split the tasks up for a concerted push over the next three weeks.  The public site is here www.myturunc.com but it's just a holding page at the moment; have a sneek peek at our development area www.myturunc.superzap.co.uk to see how things are coming along.

You can easily make this a point to YOUR company OR hide it all together.
